Rockin’ 4 Vets presents Guitar Monsters as it makes its highly anticipated return to the Tupelo Music Hall, in Derry, NH, for an electrifying night of world-class guitar rock. The show features acclaimed Boston-area guitarists Jon Butcher and Johnny A., joined by “Special Guest Monster” Dave Amato, longtime former lead guitarist for REO Speedwagon.
Inspired by legendary guitar showcases, Guitar Monsters unites elite artists to trade solos, share stories, and ignite the stage with blues, rock, improvisation, and iconic riffs. More than a concert, it celebrates guitar heroes and the enduring power of great guitar music to thrill, inspire, and move audiences.
Jon Butcher is a Grammy-nominated musician and New England Music Hall of Fame Inductee. As a highly acclaimed guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer for his own label, Electric Factory Music, Jon has earned International recognition from fans and respect from musicians around the globe.
Grammy-nominated guitarist/songwriter and Boston Music Hall of Fame inductee Johnny A. has earned worldwide acclaim for innovation, tone, and timeless musicianship. From The Yardbirds and Peter Wolf to his acclaimed solo albums and live performances, he stands among modern rock’s most respected guitarists today.
Dave Amato is an acclaimed guitarist and vocalist formerly of REO Speedwagon, whose powerful playing helped define the band’s sound for over three decades. Known for his technical mastery, and electrifying performances, Amato has shared stages worldwide and earned recognition as one of rock’s most respected guitarists. His work with REO Speedwagon and other legendary artists, including Don Felder and Cher, showcases his passion for music, unforgettable tone, and enduring influence.
Net proceeds from Guitar Monsters will benefit Liberty House, a nonprofit that provides substance-free transitional housing and support services for homeless and struggling Veterans. Produced by Rockin’ 4 Vets/Alive & Kicking Productions, the event pairs world-class musicianship with a powerful commitment to supporting Veterans throughout New England and strengthening local care.
