Home for the Holidays Candlelight Tours open on Friday, November 29 and continues through January 4, 2025. Friday and Saturday night Candlelight tours are from 5:30-7:30PM and refreshments will be offered. Candlelight tour admission is $10 per person and FREE for Worcester Historical Museum members.
Salisbury Mansion is located at 40 Highland Street, Worcester’s only historic house museum opens its doors with each room – parlors, library, drawing rooms, and other spaces – decorated to display the spirit of the season. Each space offers a different interpretation, whether it is the parlor chamber with its glitter wallpaper reflecting the lights of the tree, the sitting room with its warm and colorful atmosphere, or the small library with the Salisbury family tree theme. The Candlelight tour gives the true experience of being in a pre-revolutionary home, lit only by candles, making it a uniquely authentic holiday experience.
For more information or to reserve your tickets by phone contact Worcester Historical Museum at 508-753-8278, Tuesday through Saturday, 10AM – 4PM.
