On Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, thousands of cyclists and volunteers will come together for the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) to make an unparalleled impact in the fight against cancer by raising funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Dana-Farber). The PMC is a fully supported bike-a-thon which includes 15 routes spanning 25 to 186 miles over the first weekend of August across the state of Massachusetts. As with all PMC cycling events, 100% of every rider-raised dollar will be donated directly to Dana-Farber.
The PMC raised a record-breaking $75 million in 2024, surpassing more than $1 billion in lifetime fundraising. As the organization’s fundraising potential increases, the size of the event continues to expand. PMC 2025 will mark an end to a treasured start – the PMC community will make its last ride from Sturbridge this year. In 2026, the PMC will move its Sturbridge hub site to the College of Holy Cross in Worcester.
Registration for PMC 2025 is now open, offering cyclists the opportunity to pay homage to a long-time tradition and pedal out of Sturbridge one last time. Registration fees and minimum fundraising commitments vary based on route. To become a 2025 Heavy Hitter, participants must raise at least $11,000. All fundraising minimums must be met by October 1, 2025.
