New Movie Discussion Club at Cumberland County Library
If you love movies and love talking about them, then you’re invited to join Cumberland County Library’s new film discussion club, The Reel Thing, for an afternoon film followed by a thought-provoking discussion. The club will meet from 1- 4pm on the fourth Saturday of every month. Our first meeting is on February 22. The film being shown is an award-winning World War Two drama made in 2019 about an Austrian peasant farmer who refuses to fight for the Nazis, despite the threat of execution, and whose unwavering faith and love for his wife and children keeps his spirit alive.
