Create the perfect pair! In this hands-on makerspace workshop, you’ll design and sublimate your own custom mug, then choose how you want to make a matching coaster using a variety of creative techniques.
After personalizing your mug, you’ll select one coaster-making method to explore—sewing, tufting, laser cutting, 3D printing, or sublimation—with guidance from our instructors. Whether you love textiles, digital fabrication, or hands-on crafting, this class lets you try something new and leave with functional, one-of-a-kind pieces.

No prior experience required—this workshop is perfect for beginners, curious makers, and anyone who loves practical, personalized projects.
Ages:
Recommended for ages 10+, with anyone age 10-13 welcome with an accompanying adult to supervise 1-on-1 for the duration of the class.
Pricing:
- Everyone is welcome at this workshop! You do not have to have a MakerSpace membership or any affiliation with Utility Works. These tickets are $20

Parking:
- Street Parking is free.
- The Highland avenue parking lot behind Dunkin Doughnuts is also available for parking, if there is not closer street parking.
