Introducing One Step Forward: A Powerful Celebration of Resilience
This Women’s History Month, join us in celebrating the launch of One Step Forward, a YA historical fiction novel in verse by Marcie Flinchum Atkins, inspired by the suffragists who stood against injustice—even when it meant imprisonment. Atkins will sit down with playwright and public historian Alli Hartley-Kong to discuss her book in the very place that honors the legacy of these courageous women.
After the conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Marcie Flinchum Atkins, ask questions, and purchase a signed copy of her book ($20, available on-site).
