Ashburn Village Kids Triathlon
Calling all kids ages 6-15! Join us for the Ashburn Village Kids Triathlon on Saturday, August 8 at 8:00a.m. The Kids Triathlon includes a swim in the Lakes Pool and a bike and run around Cheltenham Circle starting and ending at the Lakes Rec Center. All racers will receive a medal, t-shirt and a small Kona Ice.
Trophies will be awarded for winners in the following age groups:
Ages 6-8: 50 meter SWIM/1.5 mile BIKE*/.75 mile RUN
Ages 9-10: 100 meter SWIM/1.5 mile BIKE*/.75 mile RUN
Ages 11-12: 100 meter SWIM/3 mile BIKE*/1.5 mile RUN
Ages 13-15: 150 meter SWIM/3 mile BIKE*/1.5 mile RUN
*A bike helmet is required for the bike portion of this event. Participants must have their own bike and a basic knowledge of how to swim. Aquatic staff will be on deck but not in the water.
