Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence - Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center
After beginning with Bach, who used six voices to compose his fugue-on-demand for Frederick the Great, the group splits for Classical and Romantic string trios by Haydn and Schubert. Then, the musicians recombine for Strauss’ Sextet from Capriccio and Tchaikovsky’s blockbuster Souvenir de Florence.
