Initially, Elizabeth misjudges Darcy, thinking him arrogant and dismissive, while Darcy believes Elizabeth to be beneath his social standing. However, as the narrative unfolds, both characters undergo personal growth, confronting their own flaws and misconceptions. Their evolving relationship ultimately leads to mutual understanding and love, challenging societal norms along the way.
