Make a Difference: Donation Drive for Adolescents Battling Cancer (Now – January 22, 2026)

Riverside High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is collaborating with the Barnett-Searing National Cancer Foundation to create care packages for adolescents and young adults with cancer, an often underrepresented age group. Your help would make a huge difference and would be greatly appreciated! We are collecting the following new items: mini blankets & fuzzy socks (in bright or cheery colors if possible), adult coloring books, colored pencils & pens, journals, chapstick, and pop-it fidget toys. We are asking for new items since the young patients receiving them will be undergoing cancer treatment. Drop off boxes are located at the entrance of Seldens Landing Elementary School, Belmont Ridge Middle School, and Riverside High School from now until January 22, 2026. Items can be dropped off during school hours. Every donation will bring comfort and joy to these teens during their time at the hospital. One hundred percent of these donations will be used to purchase items for the care packages. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
