Metropolitan School of the Arts Company Project

Under the creative direction of Metropolitan School of the Arts artistic leadership, executive director, Sara Hart and tap artistic director, Charles Renato as well as nationally recognized guest choreographers, MSA of Alexandria, Virginia will perform its Company Project, Virtuoso, exploring the universal language of music. From intricate footwork to expressive storytelling, the performance is a testament to the dedication of Alexandria’s most promising young artists. Virtuoso shifts the spotlight onto the technical brilliance and infectious energy of commercial dance. This year’s production is a high-velocity journey through tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theater, designed to celebrate the "virtuoso" within every performer—those who command the stage with exceptional technique, passion, and musicality.
