“This show is more than just a series of dances; it’s a celebration of the beat and rhythm that connect us all,” said Sara Hart, executive director of Metropolitan School of the Arts in Alexandria, Virginia. “Our dancers have pushed their limits to embody the true meaning of a virtuoso, and we can’t wait for the community to feel that vibrant energy.”
The Company Project: Virtuoso, an annual youth dance showcase featuring the pre-professional powerhouses of the iMpulse, MYTE, and dynaMYTE dance companies. Virtuoso shifts the spotlight onto the technical brilliance and infectious energy of commercial dance. This year’s production is a high-velocity journey through tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theater, designed to celebrate the "virtuoso" within every performer—those who command the stage with exceptional technique, passion, and musicality.
