FREE Spring Paper Shredding Event at Pfitzner Stadium
The Prince William County Solid Waste Division will hold a free document shredding event on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until trucks reach capacity. The event will be at the Pfitzner Stadium parking lot, 7 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, VA.
This event is for residents only; no business or commercial patrons are allowed. Only confidential documents such as bank statements and tax returns will be accepted. Regular-sized paper clips and staples are not required to be removed. All non-confidential documents, such as junk mail, should be recycled with curbside recycling collection at a Solid Waste facility customer convenience center or recycling drop-off trailer.
Residents may bring up to four boxes of paper no bigger than 18 inches by 12 inches by 15 inches for shredding on-site at no charge.
Customers should stay in the vehicle. All items for shredding should be securely placed in the rear of the vehicle (trunk, hatchback, or truck bed) before coming to the shred location. Please close or cover boxes to avoid creating litter on county roadways. At the shred location, customers must stay in their vehicles.
