We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Fete and Silent Auction on February 28, where compassion and community come together to support a noble cause. Family to Family has provided emergency financial assistance to individuals and families referred from local social workers since 1970. The Meeting House provides funds to assist with rent, utility bills, medical care and prescriptions, and job searches. Trained Meeting House volunteers process the referrals. About half of the funds for this program are raised through this fundraiser.
The Fete and Silent Auction will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Virginia Theological Seminary in the Scott Lounge. Join us for a lively Mardi Gras gathering with music by the **Bob Gibson Big Band, dinner buffet, drinks and a silent auction to benefit the Family to Family program.
Tickets are $75 per person; please register by February 15 at opmh.org/events.
If you are not able to attend, but would like to make a tax deductible donation to the fundraiser, please click go to opmh.org/events.
We are now accepting donations for the Silent Auction. Please find the form at opmh.org/events.
**Thank you to Patrick for coordinating with the Bob Gibson Big Band to perform for the event. The group was formed in 2006 to explore the full dimension of Big Band Jazz. Members come from all walks of life and varied musical backgrounds with a shared love for free artistic expression in the jazz idiom. Music professionals and dedicated amateurs, teachers and former service band players bring a wealth of experience to their craft.
