Northern Virginia Housing Exp

Loudoun County encourages community members looking for affordable living options to attend the 15th annual Northern Virginia Housing Expo on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Meridian High School, 121 Mustang Alley in Falls Church. This free event will showcase homeownership and rental opportunities and resources throughout the region. Attendees will find workshops, an exhibit hall and one-on-one financial coaching sessions. Representatives of the Loudoun County Department of Housing and Community Development will be among the presenters in a workshop about programs for first-time homebuyers. Those attending the expo will also be able to visit Loudoun County’s exhibit table to learn more about available rental, purchase and home repair programs. Other workshop and exhibit topics include credit scores, household budgeting, the tax impact of home ownership, working with a Realtor, senior housing, fair housing, reverse mortgages and a homebuying market overview. A year-round virtual exhibit hall, which drew more than 216,000 visits in 2024, is also available at novahousingexpo.org. Online attendees can view a variety of webinars and sign up for virtual financial coaching throughout the year. The expo is a cooperative effort of federal, state and local agencies and jurisdictions, including Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties; the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church and Manassas Park; Virginia Housing; the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (District of Columbia/National Capital Area Office); Northern Virginia Association of Realtors®; and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
