Jeremy Hansen Photography Presentation
On July 13th our talented photographer, Jeremy Hansen, will present a lovely slideshow of some of his beautiful work at the Great Falls Library at 6:30PM. We will have light refreshments, enjoy an enchanted evening together and love to see you there!
“Jeremy Hansen has had a great expanse of life experiences. He grew up in rural New Hampshire, went to high school in Connecticut, college in Virginia, then spent seven months in Central America with a friend after graduating. Upon returning to the USA, he spent a year in Boston before moving to South Korea for six years. Along with these milestones, he has squeezed in adventures to numerous countries on solo trips, with friends, or his best travel partner - his wife.
In all of these travels, it's the little experiences that stay with him. A spot of woods on a hiking trail, a piece of glacier in Iceland, a piece of cloud forest in Costa Rica, or the little pieces of trail right here in northern Virginia that he now calls home. He is not one to walk quickly through beautiful places. Life is to be absorbed slowly and thoughtfully - and images that result from this approach are deeply expressive of his appreciation for the natural world. Putting oneself in front of his work is to step into a meditation with nature. Take your time with his photographs and allow yourself into the adventure.”
