As we approach the 250th birthday of the United States, it's worth noting that the conversations, debates, and gatherings at taverns—most notably Gadsby's—helped launch a republic. That's really no surprise. Americans still love raising a glass to argue over politics, culture, and sports. So, once more into the breach.
