Alexandria Post-Legislative Town Hall
Join the League of Women Voters of Arlington and Alexandria City for our annual Post-Legislative Town Hall with members of the Alexandria General Assembly delegation.
Held following Virginia’s Reconvened Session, this event gives Alexandria residents an opportunity to hear directly from their state legislators about the recently concluded legislative session, including major legislation, budget priorities, and issues affecting the local community and the Commonwealth.
Community members will also have an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with their elected representatives in a nonpartisan civic forum.
Participating legislators include Senator Elizabeth Bennett-Parker (SD39), House Majority Leader Charniele Herring (HD4), Delegate Alfonso Lopez (HD3), and Delegate Kirk McPike (HD5).
The League of Women Voters hosts these town halls each year to make local civic engagement more accessible, visible, and connected to the community.
