Gentle Flow


Yoga comes from the root word “yuj,” meaning “to unite.” This gentle class is soothing and nurturing to invite practitioners to ground in their energy and mindfully deepen their breath to create a sense of unity in the mind/body connection. Movements in this class will focus on traditional poses that calmly shift the energy of the body in a way that is easeful and comfortable. Use of props is strongly encouraged. This class is appropriate for all levels of practitioner and can be very supportive for anyone preferring a softer approach to yoga asana. Class will conclude with a supportive meditation to listen to your body, release tension, and cultivate a deep sense of calm and inner peace. Kirsten believes in the power of connection and utilizes the practices and teachings of yoga to explore the balance of the human experience. She is an RYT 500 certified teacher of yoga Asana, Meditation, and Pranayama and loves to guide these practices within communities to support and cultivate connection. When she is not on a yoga mat, Kirsten thrives exploring nature, reading books, loving on her cats and dog, and makes plenty of time for her most important job - being a mom to 2 beautiful teenagers.
