For more than a decade, CityCenterDC has kicked off the Christmas season with its beloved Annual Tree Lighting on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Now in its 11th year, the retail and dining destination, in partnership with Events DC, is adding even more holiday cheer with its first-ever pop star headliner, Jordin Sparks. The award-winning artist, who is known for her hits like “No Air” and “Tattoo,” will take the stage with the American Pops Orchestra as CityCenterDC lights up its stunning 75-foot tree and kicks off the holiday season. The annual event brings thousands to downtown DC for this magical night, which also includes family friendly entertainment like complimentary face painting, balloon animals, gourmet popcorn, cotton candy, and mini donuts, along with delightful surprises.
