JOY to Fairfax: A Christmas Concert and Celebration -- Sunday, 12/14 at 3:30, 3725 Blenheim Blvd.
On Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3:30 PM, the Fairfax community is invited to celebrate the winter holiday season in with an afternoon of beautiful seasonal music performed by organist Neil Weston (Arlington Nat'l Cemetery), violinist Sonya Chung (Baltimore Symphony, Kennedy Center, Tanglewood festivals), and soprano Callie Cooper (Emerging Artist at Sewanee Music Operafest, Kennedy Center recitalist). This unusual trio will play seasonal classics and end with Christmas carols for all to sing along. This one-hour concert is a free gift to the Fairfax community and will be followed by an informal hot-cider and cookies reception. Ample parking is available on site.
