Feathered: the Musical

Inspired by the Greek myth of Icarus, Feathered tells the tale of a boy whose desire for freedom leads him to take a risk that other dreamers have taken before – and failed. As the myths of those disastrous attempts at freedom spiral around him, Icarus must confront his own doubt and decide whether he will follow the path of myth... or break the cycle and fly. Feathered features an original score, lyrics, and book by Tulsa native Judah Brown. At just 18 years old, Brown is the recipient of awards from both the National Endowment of the Arts and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre. The production will take place at the Theatre Tulsa Studios, 5521 S Peoria Ave, Tulsa, OK. Performances of Feathered run June 25-28, with 7:30pm performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and 2:30pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday. Thursday night’s performance offers Pay What You Can tickets! Thursday’s minimum ticket price is one dollar. Feathered is suitable for all ages.
