The Rogers County Perinatal Resource Fair and Community Baby Shower is a free community event designed to celebrate and support parents and families from pregnancy through early childhood. Hosted at Rogers State University’s Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Ballroom on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., this event brings together local providers, nonprofits, and businesses to create a one-of-a-kind experience for families in rural Oklahoma.
What parents and families can expect:
Free admission and open to all parents and families living in and around Rogers County
Customizable swag bags with practical items for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and early childhood development
Professional photography stations offering families the chance to capture special memories at no cost
Self-care and wellness areas focused on supporting parents and caregivers
Raffle prizes including a $500 professional photography package and many family-centered gifts
Hands-on learning activities covering topics such as lactation support, mental health, babywearing, nutrition, and early childhood growth
Community connection with local providers, organizations, and small businesses
This event is coordinated by Rural Oklahoma Birth and Wellness Initiative (ROBWI) in partnership with Rogers State University’s Community Counseling program. Together, we are working to build a culture of connection, support, and access for parents and families in rural communities.
