Summer is the time for fun and to explore new ways of thinking about who we are and to make new friends who share the same interests as ourselves. This summe program is geared towards those 3 areas: FUN, EXPLORATION & NEW FRIENDS in a 2 week program that is aimed at helping develop children’s imagination through a variety of media centered around the concept of the 250th Birthday of the United States of America, "How can Art be used to express oneself about our country." Through the investigation of the individual’s response to different media like photography, clay, printmaking, story writing, wood, video and mixing those media together through experimentation with movement, sound, installation, sculpture, collage and assemblage, the individual comes up with their own way to interpret what the camp's theme means to them! And then we will have the final presentation of whatever they came up with on the final day of the session.
