The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is happy to announce our Holiday presentation of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play for two weekends in December. Performance dates are Dec 6 -15, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Playhouse located at 1800 S. Main Street in Broken Arrow.
It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, adapted by Joe Landry, is based on the much-loved classic Christmas movie with an inventive twist! It’s done in the format of a 1940’s radio show. With radio actors playing all the parts of your favorite It’s A Wonderful Life characters. Filled with holiday music and live sound effects performed by foley artists, the story focuses on themes of hope, kindness and the positive impact one person can have on others. We hope you will come watch our radio personalities as they explore the iconic world of George Bailey and his helper angel, Clarence, in this life-affirming story that is a holiday treat for the entire family.
The BACP is pleased to welcome director Quinn Blakely. Quinn has assembled a talented cast of characters sure to make this show a must-see for your holiday season. The cast includes Andy Axewell, Steve Barker, Darren Clonts, Kelley Childers-Friedberg, Leanna Holloway and Kaley Jobe.
