America’s Wild: A Study in Light and Shadows gallery showing, April 9 - May 31, Grant's Frames

Local photographer Stephanie Ivison invites Tulsans to experience the untamed beauty of nature as seen through her lens in America’s Wild: A Study in Light and Shadows. The gallery exhibition, running from April 9 to May 31 at Grant’s Frames, is free and open to the public. An artist reception will be held on April 17 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, where guests can meet the photographer and enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages. This intimate showing features a curated selection of Ivison’s work exploring rugged landscapes, fleeting light, and powerful contrasts. The exhibit showcases the grandeur of America’s wilderness, explores the delicate balance between light and shadow, and encourages people to stop and reflect on the natural beauty that surrounds them. “Each image is a moment in time,” said Ivison. “These photographs are an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember that we are part of something greater than ourselves.” Stephanie Ivison is a Canadian photographer of Cree and Ojibway heritage. A graduate of Rogers State University, Ivison strives to create images that promote conservation and inspire people to consider their relationship with nature.
