1st Annual Herb Week Celebration hosted by the School of Natural Medicine

In celebration of National Herb Day, the community is invited to attend a special Herbal Open House and Spring Wellness Week beginning Saturday, May 2 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This family-friendly event will feature student artisan vendors, herbal demonstrations, wellness services, and hands-on educational opportunities for attendees of all ages. Visitors can enjoy: • Hourly herbal demonstrations • Massage therapy sessions • An “Ask the Herbalist” booth • Herbal product vendors and plant sales • Activities and educational stations for children Following the opening event, the celebration continues throughout the week with evening herbal mini classes Monday through Friday from 6:00–7:30 PM, along with themed pop-up learning sessions beforehand. Throughout the week, the public can also enjoy: • Free herbal wellness consultations • Discount massage appointments • & Acupuncture sessions The celebration concludes with a Mother’s Day themed “Showers of Flowers” Open House the following Saturday, again featuring vendors, wellness services, herbal learning opportunities, and family activities. One of the highlights for families is the Kids Herbal Passport Adventure, where young attendees can explore stations throughout the event and learn about herbs, collect flower seeds, and create a special “Shower of Flowers” for Mom. This event is designed to connect the community with plant medicine, natural wellness, and the growing world of herbal education.
