Broken Arrow Rose Festival/Rose Kites over Broken Arrow

Once again for 2025, the Broken Arrow Rose Festival is joining forces with Chalk It Up! An Art Festival to provide a spectacular free family-friendly fun weekend. Friday evening, Sept 19, from 5-8:30pm & Saturday, Sept 20, 9am-6pm, Broken Arrow invites you to its beautiful Rose District on Main Street. Activities include Chalk It Up’s chalk drawing competition, the Rose Festival’s Annual Rose Show competition, artist and garden vendors, food trucks, a kid zone and an Art Contest with Art Exhibit in the Arts@302 Gallery. The Festival concludes Sunday, September 21, 10am-5 pm, with Rose Kites over Broken Arrow at Nienhuis Park, 3201 N 9th Street. This festival includes free kites to decorate with roses or whatever you like. Tulsa Wind Riders Kite Club will fly their large kites, have a candy drop, and demonstrate kite fighting! Also check out the huge Historical Kite Exhibit featuring kites from the 1800’s and World War II. Pack a picnic or enjoy the convenience of the food trucks and enjoy watching big, bigger & huge kites soar over the Broken Arrow sky.
