Earth Day Celebration!
Find family-friendly activities sprinkled throughout the Gardens!
Pick up a variety of Earth Day themed scavenger hunts; learn about solitary bees and make your own backyard bee hotel; find Botanical art and craft activities such as leaf printing, plant shadow drawings, and stick flower weaving; create forest faeries and upcycle plastic materials into beautiful botany decorations.
Docent Led Tours will highlight the Gardens' sustainability practices: leaving from the Pavilion at 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 11:00 am, and 11:30 am.
Singing Bowls performance and meditation by Bev Pauls in the Grove near the Zen Garden: 10:00 am – 10:30 am; 11:00 am – 11:30 pm.
Musical performance by Gamelan Dewi Malam, Tucson’s Balinese gamelan orchestra, in the Grove near the Zen Garden: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.
