Broadway Favorites by Catalinas Community Chorus, March 30, 3 PM, 11575 First Ave Oro Valley
The phenomenon known as the Broadway musical has been an American entertainment staple since 1866. This genuinely American art form began in “The Black Crook,” a five-and-one-half-hour presentation of song, dance, and dialogue at Niblo’s Theater in New York City. It continues today with The Lion King, Wicked, Hell’s Kitchen, and approximately 20 other offerings in 2025. Catalinas Community Chorus presents “Broadway Favorites” on March 30, at 3 PM at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 11575 N. 1st Ave. in Oro Valley. You are invited to participate in the experience as selections from many of the great Broadway musicals of yesterday and today are offered. South Pacific, Oklahoma, Showboat, The Lion King, Aspects of Love, Phantom of the Opera, and The Music Man make their contributions to a great program. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and all under 12 are free. Sorry, there are no online sales.
