Tucson Birthday 250 Art Contest for Kids. Families may drop by our Slusser library at the Postal History Foundation in the mornings between 9:30 - 11:30am on weekdays. We are closed Federal holidays and weekends. We will have art supplies the kids can use to create a design for the Tucson Birthday Kids Postcard Design Contest. Deadline for entries is July 18, 2025.The winning design will be used for postcards published by the Postal History Foundation. Other winning designs will be used on collectible covers. A special awards ceremony for the winners is on August 20, 2025, Tucson's 250th birthday!
Our library also has many children's books to read and the kids may select postage stamps from around the world to take home. A COOL SUMMER ACTIVITY!
