Arizona Field Ornithologist Annual Meeting


September 26-29th AZFO's & WBBA's 2024 Annual Meetings Tucson, AZ Arizona Field Ornithologists (AZFO) is a non-profit organization of birders open to the public dedicated to increasing the knowledge of the changing status, identification, and distribution of Arizona's birdlife. The Western Bird Banding Association (WBBA) is a registered, non-profit organization of ornithologists & naturalists focused on ecological research through the study of banded birds - one of three such regional bird banding associations in the US. These two organizations are combining their Annual meetings for 2024. The theme is "Birds Without Borders" and will discuss the status of distribution and conservation obstacles for birds across the Americas. There will be something for everyone! Want to help gather data by birdwatching an underexplored area? Participate in one of our mini-field expeditions in Tucson and the surrounding area. Meet other fellow bird enthusiasts at one of our social meetups. Come see how biologists track birds by watching a banding demonstration.
