Pima Community College Theater presents “Fairview,” the 2019 Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Jackie Sibblies Drury. This groundbreaking work starts as a seemingly familiar family dramedy before evolving into a provocative examination of race, privilege, and the white gaze in both theater and society. Through unexpected shifts in perspective, Fairview challenges audiences to confront their own roles in systems of oppression and reconsider who controls the narrative. This thought-provoking production promises to spark important conversations and offers a powerful theatrical experience.
