Susan Hershey Exhibit at Madaras Gallery

Madaras Gallery will host a special evening on July 2nd from 5:30–7:00 PM featuring wildlife photographer Susan Hershey and her exhibit of Arizona wildlife, including her well-known owl imagery. A local photographer, Hershey is known for her intimate, detail-rich images of birds and her strong connection to the wildlife and birding culture of the Southwest. The Arizona Raptor Center will also be onsite for an educational presentation with live owls, including an elf owl—the smallest owl in the world. This nonprofit organization works to rehabilitate injured birds of prey, re-nest orphaned raptors, and educate the community on conservation efforts, with a focus on protecting Arizona’s native bird populations. Blending art and education, the evening offers guests a chance to experience Hershey’s work up close, learn more about local wildlife, and connect with the stories behind these remarkable animals. It’s a unique opportunity to spend an evening immersed in art, wildlife, and the stories that bring them together. Madaras Gallery is located at 3035 N. Swan Road in Tucson.
