Green Valley Recreation is sponsoring the 70-piece Civic Orchestra of Tucson (COT) for a festive musical afternoon featuring Hungarian Dances, Waltz from Masquerade, Poet and Peasant Overture, Let it Snow!, Sleigh Ride, Festive Sounds of Hanukah, and more. In addition, Steve Bryan, COT’s principal cellist, will present the memorable first movement of Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 4. At 2:15 there will be a “Meet the Soloist”, so bring your questions!. Tickets are $15 for GVREC members and $20 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 520-625-3440.
