4Tucson Hosts Conference with National and Local Faith Leaders
Speakers gather to discuss how the Christian community can come together to benefit Tucson out of our love for the city and its people
TUCSON, AZ, January 13, 2025 – 4Tucson is hosting a conference, Movement Day Tucson 2025, on February 7th, 2025, from 9:00am-2:00pm at Grace the Nations Church to train and equip Tucson’s faith-based community to join together to serve our city in the coming year.
Speakers include Keynote Speaker Eric Swanson, author, professor, and Content Knowledge Specialist at GLOO; and featured local speakers Dave Drum, Founder of J17 Ministries; Jennifer Tompkins, Outreach Pastor at Casas Church; Liz Morales, Assistant City Manager of the City of Tucson; and LaKisha Deon, CEO of 4Tucson. The event will focus on understanding movements around the country and the world that catalyze the faith-community to work together to make positive change in their cities, and how Tucson can do the same. Local speakers will offer insight into how their love for our city drives their personal missions, and how those personal missions connect with the broader faith community to make a wider impact. Participants will also have the chance to discuss what issues they are passionate about in our community and 4Tucson will utilize those discussions to provide more collaboration opportunities in 2025.
