Blood, Sweat & Tears (BS&T) has been a pioneering force in music for over 50 years, blending rock, jazz, and blues into a groundbreaking sound that changed the landscape of modern music. The band, originally formed in the late 1960s in New York's Greenwich Village, made history with their fusion of a rock band with a brass section. Their self-titled second album, which included massive hits and earned them the 1970 Grammy Award for Album of the Year, catapulted them to fame. This album spent seven weeks at number one and went quadruple platinum, cementing BS&T as one of the most innovative bands of the era.
Throughout their career, BS&T has received numerous accolades, including 10 Grammy nominations and 3 wins, and they continue to perform around the world today. The band’s legacy includes being the first rock band to tour the former Iron Curtain, performing at Woodstock in 1969, and playing at iconic venues like Las Vegas. Their unique sound, coupled with their ability to inspire new generations of musicians, has kept them relevant in the music industry. BS&T continues to headline jazz festivals and delights fans with performances that remain as powerful as ever.
Today, founding member Bobby Colomby still handpicks each band member, ensuring that the band's tradition of excellence is upheld.
