Etherton Gallery Opening for Jim Waid: Instars & Lawrence Gipe: Casbah Noir, with Alejandro Macias
Etherton Gallery opens its 2025–2026 season with a compelling painting and mixed media exhibition featuring recent work by Jim Waid, Lawrence Gipe, and Alejandro Macias. The opening reception takes place on Saturday, September 27, from 7–10pm at Etherton Gallery in downtown Tucson. All the artists will attend. This event is open to the public.
From Waid’s lush abstract landscapes to Gipe’s cinematic reinterpretations and Macias’s powerful reflections on cultural identity, the show brings together three acclaimed artists for a must-see contemporary art exhibition.
