Welcome to this in-person event which takes place in one of the vibrant spaces at Tucson's Southern Arizona Arts and Culture Alliance on Feb. 8 from 1 PM–4 PM. The Art of Becoming transforms the traditional vision board into a powerful catalyst for change and manifestation.
In this intimate 3-hour workshop, complete with treats and camaraderie, you will be guided through the use of writing, collage techniques, gratitude, and somatic practice to create a stunning visual representation of your dreams and intentions. Your journey continues beyond the workshop with a thoughtfully curated goodie bag and accountability session designed to help you keep your vision alive!

About the facilitator:
Lorna Nakell is a feminist change agent dedicated to using creativity to fight the patriarchy and make the world a better and safer place for women. With a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and an MS in Publishing from Portland State University, she built successful careers as a professional artist, book designer, and graphic designer/illustrator before founding Womanhouse.
As the founder of Womanhouse, Lorna created and hosts the podcast I Am My Passion Project, engaging in rich conversations with creative women about self-reinvention and positive social change, while tackling challenging subjects like sex addiction and the harms of pornography. Her second podcast, Redesign Yourself Beyond Betrayal, focuses specifically on providing tools and support for betrayal trauma survivors. As an author and illustrator, she wrote I Am Reclaiming Me: A Betrayed Partner's Daily Practice Journal for Women and collaborated with her husband Noah on Coupleship: Activity Cards for Reestablishing Connection after Sexual Betrayal.
Since moving to Tucson from Portland, OR about a year ago Lorna has been finding inspiration in the desert sunshine through trail running and art-making.
