Hip Hop Act - Cypress Hill Tour to Tucson
Southern Arizona fans are in for a legendary summer night as Cypress Hill brings its Once Upon A Time in the Summer 2026 Tour to AVA Amphitheater at Casino Del Sol on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
For more than three decades, Cypress Hill has remained one of hip-hop’s most distinctive and influential acts. Formed by B-Real, Sen Dog and DJ Muggs, the group emerged from Los Angeles in 1991 with its self-titled debut album and quickly built a devoted following with breakout tracks including “How I Could Just Kill a Man” and “The Phuncky Feel One.” Their unmistakable sound, crossover appeal and cultural impact helped define an era while continuing to inspire new generations of fans.
The group’s landmark 1993 album Black Sunday debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earned three GRAMMY® Award nominations, and went triple platinum in the United States. Cypress Hill became the first rap group to have two albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 at the same time and the first Latino-American hip-hop group to achieve platinum and multi-platinum success.
Since then, Cypress Hill has continued to expand its legacy through multiple releases, including 2018’s critically acclaimed Elephants on Acid and 2022’s Back In Black, which drew praise for proving the group continues to evolve while staying true to its roots. In 2019, Cypress Hill received its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, further cementing its place in music history.
The group made headlines again on July 10, 2024, when it delivered a sold-out performance with the London Symphony Orchestra at Royal Albert Hall, bringing to life a moment long joked about in pop culture and transforming it into a celebrated crossover event. The performance was widely praised as a bold and memorable chapter in the group’s storied career.
