Shakespeare's Greatest Hits, Volume 2

Presented in the style of readers theatre this show will focus on the language and the themes used by Shakespeare with very minimal use of props, staging, and costumes. This will serve as a good introduction to anyone who has ever been afraid of attending a Shakespearean play because of the language. In addition to readings from plays like Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, Hamlet, The Tempest and other well known plays the program will touch upon a couple of Shakespeare’s lesser-known works such as Cymbeline and King John. The program will also include interaction with the audience, including Sonnet-in-the-Round where a lucky audience member, or two, will be selected to join the cast on stage.
