Ida, MI – The 1st Annual Country Cornhole Tournament has been announced by the Christmas in Ida Board of Directors. The Cornhole Tournament is set to hit the streets under the glow of stadium lights on Friday, December 5, bringing fun and friendly competition to festival visitors of all ages. The top three place winners will receive Christmas in Ida Cornhole Tournament Medals of Gold, Silver, and Bronze, and compete for a 80% payout in prize money. Whether a seasoned bagger or a first-time player, everyone is welcome to take part in this exciting new addition to the festival. Sign-up begins at 6:00 p.m. at the announcer stage, with bags flying at 7:00 p.m. The tournament entry fee is $20.00 and will feature a Blind Draw and Double Elimination format. The event is professionally managed by BackRoad Baggers LLC, ensuring a high-energy and well-organized competition. The cornhole tournament will take place on Lewis Avenue in downtown Ida. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors in the Ida Fireman’s Pavilion, ensuring the fun continues rain, snow, or stars.
