Golden Hour: Sunset in Sevilla, Tampa Bay History Center Gala

We are delighted to celebrate Andrea Gonzmart Williams and Beau Williams as the 2026 History Center Gala Chairs and Presenting Sponsors. Their deep roots in the Tampa Bay community and unwavering commitment to its cultural and philanthropic life will help shape an evening that is both meaningful and unforgettable. Inspired by Florida’s historic ties to Spain, this year’s “Sunset in Sevilla” theme also honors our Chairs’ family legacy and the Columbia Restaurant’s rich traditions of cuisine and flamenco. You spoke—and we listened. This year, the History Center’s signature black-tie fundraiser will begin earlier in the evening. On Friday, November 13, doors will open at 5:30 p.m., inviting you to beat the downtown rush and enjoy a Sevilla-style champagne sunset “golden hour” overlooking the beautiful Riverwalk. The Gala will bring our community together to celebrate Tampa in a relaxed and festive atmosphere, featuring exceptional cuisine from the Columbia Cafe and an evening free of speeches, auctions, or formal programming. It’s simply an opportunity to enjoy great food, the company of friends, and support the preservation of Tampa’s remarkable history and stories. To all who have supported the Gala over the past 17 years, thank you. Your generosity has helped the History Center grow and thrive. And to those joining us for the first time, welcome. We hope this tradition becomes one you’ll cherish for years to come. Summer will be here before you know it, so start planning your black-tie attire—and feel free to add a touch of flamenco flair, perhaps with a flower or two. We look forward to celebrating with you on November 13!
