CELEBRATE DUKE ELLINGTON
CELEBRATE DUKE ELLINGTON: Come enjoy a jazzy popular music program of tunes from the Great American Songbook including many favorites made famous by Duke Ellington and his band. Among many great selections, you will hear “Satin Doll”, “Don’t Get Around much Anymore” and “Take the A-Train”. Seating is first come, first served. Doors open at 2:30.
BRYAN HUGHES, vocalist and his great band THE CREW. Bryan is a talented Tampa Bay area singer who performs frequently with La Lucha and at the Palladium Side Door Jazz Programs and at many other festivals and jazz clubs. For this program, he brings his own wonderful band and will sing some of his favorite numbers. The Crew features James Suggs, trumpet; Simon Lasky, piano; Jean Bolduc, drums; and Alejandro Arenas, bass.
