5th Annual Spring Rock, Gem, Jewelry and MORE! show

The Tampa Bay Mineral and Science Club will host its 5th Annual Spring Rock, Gem, Jewelry and MORE! Show on April 5 and 6 at the Florida State Fairgrounds Special Events Center in Tampa. We will have over 50 vendors offering an amazing assortment of unique slabs, cabochons, beads, gems, jewelry, and much more. If you collect, create, or just enjoy working with nature’s materials, this is the show for you. We have a kids’ section with a sluice, a touch table with rock identification, and a bean bag toss where kids (and adults) can win prizes. Learn how to make jewelry at the in-person make-and-take classes. Kids can win a prize and test their mineral knowledge with a free scavenger hunt. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 6. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military (with ID), free for kids 12 and under. 4800 U.S. 301, Tampa, FL 33610. Parking is free, when you enter through the MLK entrance, and tell them you are there for the Rock Show. This is an indoor event, so it is air conditioned. There is a concession stand serving lunch and refreshments, and a well stocked ATM out front. Enjoy the company of like-minded people, and have a great time. Interested in being a vendor?
