Better Together Job Fair
Better Together, with support from Esperanza City Church, will host a job fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 in Lakeland.
Registration is now open for job seekers to participate in the event. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to review resumes and interviewing skills, and additional services will be available onsite.
The community job fair is part of Better Together’s “Better Jobs” program, which has helped nearly 40,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. At job fairs hosted by Better Together, two-thirds of attendees get a job interview, and 1 in 4 receive a job offer on the spot. Some 70% find work within six weeks.
The March 27 job fair will take place at Esperanza City Church, located at 635 N. Wabash Ave. in Lakeland. Job seekers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/EsperanzaCity or by texting “JOBS” to 844-987-3949.
