Palm Harbor Museum & Palm Harbor Library Present: AMERICA250: VOICES & VISIONS OF 1776
Palm Harbor Museum is excited to be bringing their next Palm Harbor Museum Presents in collaboration with Palm Harbor Library on Wed., March 4 at 6:30 PM in the library's Community Room, featuring AMERICA250: VOICES & VISIONS OF 1776 —ART AND CULTURE.
Together, Palm Harbor Library and Palm Harbor Museum will celebrate America's Semiquincentennial with official clips from PBS’s THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION directed by Ken Burns as representatives from the library, museum, and Main Street Palm Harbor lead discussion and present samples of historic national music, poetry, and art.
Artifacts from the museum's collection will be on display, including pieces from the museum's 2025 exhibition 100 Years of Palm Harbor: A Step Back in Time that will connect our local and national history. Special refreshments and gift bags will be available for those who attend. All ages are invited.
This collaboration celebrating America250 continues in June as Palm Harbor Museum Presents The Spirit of Service – Civic Engagement on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Palm Harbor Library with a program emphasizing the enduring significance of civic participation in shaping the nation. You will again experience select excerpts from PBS's THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, facilitated discussion, refreshments, and a companion museum exhibition.
All are welcome at no charge (donations gratefully accepted)
to both presentations.
