About Sour Bellies
Sour Bellies was founded on the belief that our health is deeply connected to the microscopic world within us. After personally experiencing the powerful benefits of fermented foods, we were inspired to share these time-honored traditions with others. The COVID-19 pandemic underscored just how essential it is to support our immune systems and overall wellness—not as a luxury, but as a necessity. Beneficial bacteria in our gut play a crucial role in digestion, immunity, and even mental health. At Sour Bellies, we’re on a mission to make fermented foods more accessible through workshops, education, and community outreach, bridging the gap between tradition and science—one jar of kimchi or sauerkraut at a time.
