Miles for Matheny
Miles for Matheny is our largest annual fundraiser. Its a celebratory, community event that began in 1998 as a small wheelchair walk and cycling ride. Today, Miles brings Matheny students, residents, families, and friends from the community together to enjoy a day of camaraderie and fun.
Caring and compassion are Matheny hallmarks—so it’s fitting Miles for Matheny 2025 is taking place Saturday, June 7th, 2025 which just happens to be World Caring Day! By donating or contributing to a fundraising page or team, your care and compassion allows Matheny to continue serving our residents, students, program participants, and community members living with medically-complex disabilities

Are you a cyclist who wants to support Miles? For 2025, we are thrilled to renew our partnership with the Morris Area Freewheelers to allow our Matheny cyclists to participate in the Revolutionary Ramble, a premier local charity cycling event. Ride in the Ramble for Team Matheny, and the proceeds of your ride will benefit our students and residents! When you register, be sure to select “Yes” under “Are you riding with Team Matheny?”
