Kelly’s K9s, Tails of Courage Open House
Kelly Sutliff founded Kelly’s K9s, Tails of Courage, a nonprofit organization providing survivors of domestic violence with a trained protection dog after enduring her own domestic violence incident in December 2019 and getting into protection dog training as a result.
It has become Kelly’s mission to support and advocate for survivors and their safety. Kelly’s K9s restores physical and emotional safety, promotes healing and empowers survivors of domestic violence and their families. They provide trained canines to domestic violence survivors for protection and emotional support in order to foster independence and renew their self worth.
The Kelly’s K9s Open House will include live protection dog demos, free self-defense classes for women, kid friendly activities including face painting, balloon art, and a puppy kissing booth, local vendors, merch and food trucks.
This isn’t just an event, it is a chance to see what safety, empowerment and community really look like.
