Lorraine will be discussing the life and work of Nikki Giovanni and reading some of her poetry. Attendees may also share their own poems by registering in advance. We will also be showing a clip from Nikki’s interview with James Baldwin on the show SOUL! (bear in mind Lorraine will not be portraying Nikki in-character).
If you’d like to help us celebrate by reading some of your own Nikki-inspired poetry, please email Eric at the contact information listed here (number of readers is limited).
